Dr. Hu does a very comprehensive exam that includes extra-oral and intra-oral evaluation. He takes the time to explain current options, pros/cons, risks and benefits to you so that you can make an informed choice. Dr. Hu is very much against the "factory-- in and out" atmosphere or the "after dental cleaning, get a 15 minute dental exam in the same dental hygiene chair" atmosphere. • Recently, Dr. Jerry Hu has been featured in the Spring 2011 LVI Visions Dental Journal for his Award Winning cosmetic dental work-- He earned 1st place at the IACA - (International Association for Comprehensive Aesthetics) National Conference: "Best Before and After-- Glamour Division." This national IACA "Aesthetic Eye" Competition has been chosen by a panel of judges consisting of nationally recognized Master cosmetic dentists and ceramists. He was given the award during the 2010 Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts
  
  
• Dr. Hu's dental work has also been shown on the back cover (full page) of the Winter 2011 issue (vol. 26 issue 4) of the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, printed by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

Furthermore, Dr. Hu has also been rated a "TOP MAC Doctor" from the ENTIRE Microdental DTI National Laboratory Network, and his work is featured twice (2 of his patient makeovers) in the smile gallery under their main website: www.macveneers.com. Since 2008, he is rated as in the top 1% on National Macveneer Level for his smile makeover and cosmetic dental talents. Dr. Hu's name was even mentioned in Vogue magazine, Nov. 2009 (pg 168). Also in 2009, Dr. Hu's work received an award as the "national runner up in MAC Model Search" competition.
